SIGGRAPH ASIA 2017 Student Volunteersから推薦状の依頼がきました。

うちの学生がエントリーしたので、それに対して登録された指導教員への確認と推薦、ということですがURL1つで解決です。
せっかくなので項目を紹介しておきます。

これだけです！
その学生との馴れ初め、他の同様に親しい学生と比べた場合の、やる気、知性 、倫理的基準/誠実さ、口頭および英語力、学生ボランティアプログラムの成功の可能性…てな感じです。
日本の大学だったらグチグチと「俺はそんな学会に学生を出すつもりはない」とか言う先生がいるかもしれません。
面倒な推薦状フォーマットもありません、ちょっとした作文とフォームだけで完了です。
アメリカの大学への推薦状なんかもこういう電子フォームの形式が多いのですが、
日本でも一般化してほしいですよね。日本は性悪説に立って有りもしない不利益を力説して、結局、非効率な仕事を増やしてしまう先生が多い感じがします。
そして可愛い学生には旅をさせよ！だと思います。学生を自分の兵隊か何かと勘違いしてはいけません。
ところでSIGGRAPH ASIAですが、来年の2018年は東京開催ですよ！
2017バンコクのボランティアの応募は終了してしましましたが、来年は是非！
（と言っても経験を積んでおくことは大事なので今年応募しておくことを強くおすすめしていた次第）
